Jeffrey’s Automotive Repair Serves as Honorary Starter at NASCAR’s O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Challenge

PRLog (Press Release) – Nov 11, 2011 – Fort Worth’s family-owned and operated Jeffrey’s Automotive was recently selected to serve as the Honorary Starter for the 2011 O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. According to a letter from O’Reilly’s Installer Development Manager, Dallas Thompson prior to the event, “we are extremely pleased to have Jeffrey’s Automotive as our guest at this event as Honorary Starter.”
The Honorary Starter duties include waving the green flag to start the race. Prior to the beginning of the race, Morton Jeffrey, owner, was introduced to the crowd on the Saturday event, November 5, 2011.
“One of the highlights and great adventures for our company and its employees was being recognized and honored in front of 200,000 racing fans,” said Jeffrey. “It was an adrenaline rush seeing cars speed by at 200 mph from the flag stand over the speedway. We definitely made a memory that we want written down in our history. We are deeply grateful to the Texas Motor Speedway, NASCAR and O’Reilly’s Auto Parts for this special day for the Jeffrey family.”
Morton Jeffrey and his family have been serving customers in North Fort Worth from the same location on Denton Highway 377 for over 32 years. The business started by Jeffrey with only 3 bays in 1979 has now grown to 41 bays. Sharing in the event’s activities included Tony Brooks, Jeffrey’s son-in-law and General Manager, and son, Andy Jeffrey, one of Jeffrey’s Automotive 5 Service Writers.
Jeffrey’s Automotive is a complete automotive repair and maintenance facility servicing both foreign and domestic vehicles. Technicians are ASE certified, including Master Tech Certification. Additionally, Jeffrey’s Automotive is involved in local Fort Worth community activities such as the Community Enrichment Center in North Richland Hills. Last year, Jeffrey’s participated in the DFW Christian radio station’s “KLTY Christmas Wish” and served as a drop-off location for the Marines Toys for Tots program.
